The Seattle Seahawks engineered a stunning fightback to overcome the Los Angeles Rams in extra time, securing their spot in the postseason.

Overcoming a 30-14 deficit in the fourth quarter, the Seahawks emerged victorious 38-37 at home, registering their fifth straight victory.

While the Los Angeles had already secured a post-season spot earlier on game day, the Seattle team secured their place to the postseason after a 24-month absence.

With this result, the Seahawks now lead their division's standings with a twelve and three mark, replacing the Rams, who fell to the fifth playoff position with an eleven and four record.

Quarterback Sam Darnold had two picks but regrouped to deliver two touchdown passes, including the second TD to star receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba in overtime.

The Rams held a six-point advantage at half-time before Kenneth Walker III broke free for a 55-yard scoring dash for Seattle.
